Who is that in Outer Space

Happy Saturday!! Today I have a tag/card with the theme Outer Space for the challenge going on at the Sisterhood of Snarky Sisters!

I thought I would bring out my gelli plate and play with some space colors. I chose black , and two shades of blue acrylic paint.  I made three prints off my plate and I was satisfied with my results. When my prints were completely dry I added some watercolor crayons for any spaces in the white cardstock that were still white and I drew in any details that might help my "outerspace" look like planets.   Next it was time to  cut out a space ship. I used my second gelli plate print for this and just free handed a rocketship.
Then it was time for a focal image .. I found a space suit online and decided to add Edna to the suit and printed her off and for a 3d faux effect I printed her out twice in different sizes.. I had a bunch of fun!!  so , head on over the the Sisterhood of Snarky Sisters for the SOSS Challenge #62 "O -Outer Space".
Have a Great Weekend!!

I love you because card with Latina Crafters

Happy Monday! Peggy here and I would like to show you a card made with my eBrush by Craftwell USA and our sponsor this month Latina Crafters!
This is a large card. I took a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock and folded it in half.  I chose a stencil from Latina Crafters to encircle my focal image on the front.  Using my eBrush I sprayed onto photo paper with a metallic marker.  Using this paper gave me the shine I was going for.  Next I embossed my inside sentiments with Latina Crafter Stamps in Gold embossing powder and I cut them out for placement onto the inside of my card.  I cut out a film strip to place my photo's inside and I continued the same stencil pattern on the top of my film strip spraying with my eBrush.
I put it all together!
DAD I love you because
You're the funniest man I know!
and
You tickle me and make me giggle!
Sending you buckets of Love xxxooo

Have a great week!!

Latina Crafters and Craftwell USA Card!

Hello Fellow Crafters! Today's card showcases Latina Crafters Stamps and Stencils  and Craftwell USA eBrush System using markers.

I made this  5.5x5.5 card on a cardstock base.
I started with my sentiment from Latina Crafters. I stamped this in Stazon Black.
Next I used my stencil to create a sun like effect using my eBrush I sprayed on top of the stencil using two different colors of markers, yellow and orange.
Next I punched out a flower border with a punch.
I used a die to cut the background and I colored that with gelato's. I used a ribbon to cut my imageview into thirds and added a paper flower and butterfly.

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers V is for Vroom

Challenge #61 V is for Vroom! Here is my card for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers. My fellow sisters challenge you to create a project using the theme "V is for Vroom". I totally love my coloring books and using different mediums to achieve the look I am going for. Today I used Copic Markers for my groovy VW van and keeping up with the flower theme I used as many bright colors as I could. My background behind the van was created using my brightest Gelato's.

This is the inside.. I thought it very appropriate for my VW flower power van!

Have a great Saturday and head on over to the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers to join in on the challenge!

Warmly,
Peggy

Ballerina Dress Canvas Kroma Acrylic Paints

16x20

Sometime last year I discovered The Art Sherpa's videos on YouTube and I was hooked.  Well finally
I have some quality paints and canvas' to paint on and I thought I would follow a video I thought would look fabulous on my daughter's pink wall.  Her instructions were very clear and being able to see her on video step by step made this process fun and easy to do. Thank you Cinnamon!!
