Family Time

Hellooooo Gals....

Hema...here today sharing a small art journal piece with you all.  Its been a month that I havent shared anything much as I was bit stuck at my domestic front.  Now all set and I'm back with you all guys sharing some lovely stuff hereon.

I have used the digital papers from our store and have created this page.  For spoons I have used the printed paper from Canvas Crop Brands and fussy cut them and adhered it. I have first given a wash with clear gesso and have handpainted with acrylic brown and mustard color, later added gesso with 13Arts stencil which is my new collection and also my DT kit. Added few splatters of white, after adhering the spoons I have highlighted with graphite pencil and rubbed with my finger around. Stamped few clocks randomly and worte a handwritten quote for finishing.

The main purpose of this journal was that as we all know the whole family gets together is only during breakfast of dinner time as most of our lives are so mechanical and we hardly get time to stay toether and join as family.  So thats the time we all are united and get together.....so which is all worth to cherish. Hence I made this as a journal page. Hope you all get to spend quality time together and cherish that moments always.

Moments of life - Journal

Hello Gals....

Hope all you guys are doing fine and here today I'm on Mixed media Supplies blog sharing my art jounal with our Digi papers avaialable at the store. 

I have printed this digi paper on Canon water color paper 300gsm and have textured it with stencil using Gabbi's texture stencil and The CraftTreat  flourish stencil with Prima White gesso and have added guage for more depth. Once it was heat set played along with Lindy's Spray - Bachelor Button blue, Caribean blue and Blazing black spray. Later stamped with some texture stamps - Prima, and also for the focal image was stamped with Visible Image Face it & Live in the Moment stamps along the journal page. Added few sequences and art stones on to it. Finally tried yellow paint splatters which was a trialpackage.

Darkness - Dream

Hi Dearies....

I have been late to post this time as I was not keeping well. Today I have a journal spread to share with you all and I have used Digital Printable's from our store and have created this.

So lets start this small share of work....

 

• I have color printed this digital pic on a heavy Watercolor paper. And I have distressed the edges with Brushed Corduroy. 

• After this I have used Alcohol ink on the ruffled  edges of the water color paper. By mistake a drop of ink fell off on my printed side.....mistake do happen but look further steps how that disappears!!

• I have used a stencil with modelling paste.

• After heat setting the modeling paste I have used Fabrika Decoru's Magic paints to paint the journal and here I have used Magic brown, Black and Sunshine yellow. I love the sheen and shine it leaves once you paint them. I have also added some splatters all around.

• After dry setting the paint I have stamped for more texture with Archival ink black and texture stamps from Prima.

• I have also printed few more digital images here and will fussy cut them and adhere it to my journal spread.

• I  have fussy cut them and highlighted with White Gelly Roll pen and Posca pen for highlights. Now our journal spread is all set and ready. I have added a small hand written sentiment. Few close up shares below:

Journals - For the Soul

Hi Dearies.....

Today I have two journals which I created for Mixed Media Supplies Blog......here I have used the  digital printables which you can create in any form you need.

Here I have used canvas texture sheet and printed the digital paper and the printables.  I have distressed using stencil with archival inks and stamped Prima Letters texture stamp and heat embossed with Lindy's Black forest black, edged with Alcohol inks and have used metallic magic paint blue and acrylic white splatters, hand wrote the sentiment and heat embossed the printable with Ranger emboss pen for more dimension.
